The
Special K Diet has been created by Kellogg’s, the famous brand of cereals. The
Special K Diet, also known as the Special K Challenge, consists on eating cereals in 2 of your daily lunches.
Weight loss: 6 lbs in 2 weeks.
Special K diet duration: 15 days.
The Special K Diet Plan recommends 3 steps to lose weight:
- Practice exercise daily
- Eat with moderation and preferably balanced food
- Add cereals special k (fiber) in your diet, of any of its 7 varieties: Special K Classic, red fruits, chocolate...
Diet plan of the Special K Diet from Kellogg’s
Breakfast:
1 portion of cereals Special K (10 oz, 30 grs).
1 glass of skimmed milk (125 ml)
1 glass of natural orange juice (100 ml).
1 coffee without sugar.
Lunch:
Eat normally but with moderation.
Snack:
1 piece of seasonal fruit.
1 coffee without sugar or herbs tea.
Dinner:
1 portion of cereals Special K (20 oz, 60 grs)
1 glass of skimmed milk (200ml)
1 or 2 seasonal fruits.
Disadvantages of the Special K Diet
The Special K Diet is not a healthy and balanced diet. For this reason, the maximum diet duration recommended by Kellogg's is 15 days. When you'll come back to your normal diet, probably you'll recover the lost weight.
